About me
As a Senior Counselling Psychologist and Psychedelic Integration Therapist, I specialize in helping individuals who have had or are planning to have psychedelic experiences. If you are considering exploring these states, psychotherapy can be a valuable tool to prepare for the journey. By addressing your current problems, I can assist you in approaching these extraordinary states with a healthy mindset. While psychedelic experiences can provide profound insights and unlock your inner wisdom, they can also be challenging and perplexing. I can guide you in making sense of these ambiguous experiences and help you integrate them into your daily life. Conceptualizing and integrating these experiences can be exceptionally beneficial for personal growth and transformation.
As a psychotherapist with extensive experience, I provide services in private practice in Edinburgh. My goal is to assist clients in understanding the patterns of behaviour that underlie psychological distress, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
With 15+ years of experience in the NHS, Third Sector, and private practice, my passion is to help individuals make meaningful changes in their lives. My integrative approach combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-centred Therapy (PCT), mindfulness, and Transpersonal Psychology to meet each client's unique needs. My ultimate goal is to facilitate personal and relational transformation to help people reach their full potential.
Training, qualifications & experience
My approach is integrative, combining CBT, Person-Centred, Mindfulness, meditative practice, breathwork, and Transpersonal Psychology. With experience in trauma, depression, anxiety, relationships, grief, self-esteem, and abuse. I hold a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, Pg Dip in Psychology and Mental Health, and HCPC accreditation. My background includes the NHS, Third Sector and private practice.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
