Karen Botevyle Adv Dip PC, Dip Hyp CS
I am an experienced online therapist with many years' experience working with both adults and children. I help clients who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, feeling sad, panic attacks, bereavement, trauma or just struggling with day-to-day life.
I offer a free initial 30 minute session and I am also able to offer evening and weekend appointments.
Alongside my private practice, I also work as a counsellor with Anxiety UK, Cruse Bereavement Care and a charity supporting victims of rape and sexual assault.
I believe that everybody should be given an opportunity to be able to have their voice heard and be able to express how they are feeling without the fear of being judged. Therapy should be about the individual person, so I tailor my sessions to suit you in a safe and non-judgemental environment, where I will listen and support you through these challenging times.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. How counselling can help
Counselling gives you an opportunity to talk through your thoughts and feelings and have your voice heard. It gives you a safe place to explore the challenges you may be struggling with and help you to make sense of them and find a new way forward.
Counselling is not about the therapist telling you what to do or giving advice, it is about you and your experiences of your life. Our sessions will be led by you, with my help and support. Together we will travel on your journey, at your pace, looking and exploring your thoughts and emotions.
