About me

You may already have a sense of what psychotherapy will be like, or you may not. Either way, choosing a therapist can be difficult. You can contact me by email, voicemail or text, and I will telephone you to arrange an initial consultation meeting. During the consultation, we will reflect together on what has led you to seek therapy at this time and think about the outcomes you are hoping for. This meeting will also offer us an experience of what it may be like to work together as well as a sense of whether you may find therapy helpful.

I am an experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist working with a broad range of issues. I provide a safe and confidential space in which we can work together to explore whatever concerns you may be experiencing.

People often contact me who are struggling with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression and low moods
  • Low self-esteem and lack of confidence
  • Interpersonal and relationship problems
  • Anger
  • Self-harming behaviours
  • Sexual issues
  • Problems at work
  • Abuse (physical or psychological)
  • Trauma
  • Addictive behaviour
  • Loss

I am available for weekly sessions, or twice-weekly sessions. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place at the same time and on the same day each week.

My approach is based on you as an individual and the issues you bring. My consulting room, close to King’s Cross station, provides a secure and comfortable setting for your sessions. Regular sessions offer you a consistent space to talk about what is happening in your life, to focus on yourself and to explore things which may be difficult to discuss in other environments, in confidence and without fear of judgement. In doing so, psychotherapy can help you to find greater insight into complex patterns of behaviour, experiences, and emotions, so that life may become more manageable and fulfilling.

I aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hours.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified psychotherapist registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FCP). I am psychoanalytically trained and have a Clinical Qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from WPF Therapy, where I completed an advanced five year training. I work to the Code of Ethics of my Professional Standards Authority Register. I have professional indemnity insurance.
