About me
I am a UKCP-registered psychodynamic psychotherapist with consulting rooms in King's Cross and Moorgate. I offer both in-person and online therapy.
You may be struggling with something arising from recent experiences, or more long-standing issues. Therapy offers a safe and confidential space in which you and I can work together to explore your concerns. I work with a broad range of mental health, emotional, and relationship challenges.
People often seek help with:
- Anxiety
- Depression and low moods
- Low self-esteem and lack of confidence
- Relationship and interpersonal problems
- Problems at work
- Feelings of overwhelm
- Anger
- Self-harming behaviours
- Sexual issues
- Compulsive behaviour
- Intrusive thoughts
- Abuse (physical or emotional)
- Trauma
- Addictive behaviour
- Loss
How I work
I offer both time-limited (for an agreed number of sessions) and open-ended therapy. Sessions are weekly, or twice weekly. Regular sessions can provide you with a consistent and confidential space to talk about what is happening in your life, to focus on yourself and to explore things which may be difficult to discuss in other environments. In doing so, therapy can help you find greater insight into complex emotions, experiences, and patterns of behaviour, so that life may become more manageable and fulfilling.
Sessions
Sessions last 50 minutes and will typically take place on the same day, and at the same time each week.
How to begin
You may already have a sense of what psychotherapy will be like, or you may not. Either way, I understand choosing a therapist can be difficult. You can contact me by email, voicemail or text, and I will contact you to arrange an initial consultation meeting. During the consultation, we will reflect together on what leads you to seek therapy at this time and think about the outcomes you are hoping for. This will also be a chance for us to meet and to think about whether you will find therapy helpful. We may agree to meet for a further consultation session if we agree that more time would be useful in deciding the best route forward.
Please get in touch to arrange an initial consultation. I aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hours.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced psychotherapist registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC). I am psychoanalytically trained and have a Clinical Qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from WPF Therapy, where I completed an advanced five year training. I work to the Code of Ethics of my Professional Standards Authority Register. I have professional indemnity insurance.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
