About me

I am currently working online or by phone.

I work with clients, both in the UK and abroad, looking to process difficulties in their lives, whether recent or historical. It takes courage to admit that you're stuck or that events are affecting your life, and I will work with you to find the best ways to get you unstuck, or allow you to process traumas.

I have a Diploma in Adlerian Counselling, which means I recognise that encouragement and support are at the heart of making lasting change. I can also help you look back at past experiences to enable understanding and growth, instead of being held back.

I regularly work with trauma and PTSD and complex PTSD, allowing clients to process the most difficult moments in their lives. I will work with you to explore strategies to help you regulate your emotions so you can process and move on from these traumas. I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Traumatology and PTSD and can work with a range evidence-based of trauma processes, including:

  • STAIR (Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Imagery Rescripting & Reprocessing Therapy (IRRT)
  • Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET)

In addition I offer

  • Exposure, Relaxation & Rescripting Therapy (ERRT) for nightmares
  • Brainspotting

I provide a confidential, non-judgemental, encouraging space to talk and work together.  I have a background in consultancy and support services and have volunteered in crisis support. I have a wide range of experience of working with people in different industries with different problems.

I work with clients seeking support with a wide range of issues, including Addiction, Anxiety, Childhood trauma, Disability, Dissociation, Family issues, Low confidence and Low Self esteem, Menopause, Neurodivergence (ASD and ADHD), OCD, Personal Development, PTSD and complex PTSD, Relationship issues, Sexual assault, Stress, Suicidal ideation,  Transgender issues, Trauma.

I have also had training in

  • Infant Loss
  • Bereavement
  • Neurodivergence

To get started .. please email me or text me for a free initial 30 minute consultation. I'll be happy to answer any questions and discuss what you need from counselling.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
