About me
Are you experiencing challenges in your relationships that you'd like to address?
You put so much energy into your relationships - always keeping the peace, meeting expectations and making sure everyone is okay. But lately you're exhausted. Maybe you feel:
- Guilty for wanting space or saying no
- Stuck in a pattern of people-pleasing and avoiding conflict
- Scared of rejection if you speak honestly about what you need
- Like you're carrying a secret you feel unable to share.
Deep down, you want to feel more like yourself again but the fear of upsetting others or losing relationships makes that feel impossible.
How Therapy Can Help
I work with people who feel stuck in their relationships - whether with family, partners, or close friends. Many of my clients are caring, kind people who don't want to let others down, but they've reached a point where they can't keep going on like this.
Through therapy you can:
- Understand what's making you feel drained - so you can stop second guessing yourself and start feeling more in control.
- Set boundaries without guilt or fear - allowing you to protect your time and energy without damaging your relationships.
- Recognise patterns that keep you feeling stuck - so you can respond differently instead of falling into the same cycles.
- Reduce anxiety and overwhelm - freeing up mental space for things that bring you joy and fulfillment.
- Stop carrying the weight of everyone else's needs - and finally focus on what you want, without feeling selfish.
Why Work with Me
I understand how relationships, expectations and unspoken struggles can shape the way we see ourselves. That's why my approach is person-centred - this is your space to explore things at your own pace, without judgment or pressure. Therapy isn't about being told what to do; it's about finding a way forward that feels right for you.
Worried About Starting Therapy?
Many of my clients have spent years putting others first and worry that focusing on themselves will seem selfish. But taking care of yourself isn't selfish - it's what allows you to have the relationships and life you truly want.

Training, qualifications & experience
About Me
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent years listening to people's stories, working with refugees, recording life histories, and seeing firsthand the power of being truly heard. This led me to train as a therapist, where I've supported people facing addiction, bereavement by suicide and wide range of life challenges through community counselling.
I am fully insured and work within the ethical and professional framework of the BACP.
Qualifications
- MA in Life History Research, University of Sussex.
- Foundation Degree in Person-Centred Counselling, University of Brighton.
Alongside my qualifications, I undertake regular supervision and CPD.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I work face to face in my garden room in Lewes or online for clients all over the UK.
