About me
My passion as a counsellor comes from helping people feel truly seen, heard and understood within a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space. I believe therapy can be life-changing when we build a trusting therapeutic relationship, and I feel privileged to support my clients in developing self-awareness, confidence, healthier coping strategies and lasting emotional growth.
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience supporting adults, young people and families with a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties. I now work primarily with adults, including clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, emotional overwhelm, stress, relationship difficulties, burnout and neurodivergence. I also continue to support children and young people where appropriate.
As a neurodivergent therapist myself, I am particularly passionate about creating a space where clients feel accepted without judgement or pressure to mask who they are. My own personal experiences with anxiety, low self-esteem and therapy have helped shape me into the warm, compassionate and authentic therapist I am today. I understand how difficult life can feel when emotions become overwhelming, and how hard it can be to reach out for support.
I work primarily online, allowing me to offer flexible therapy across the UK, alongside face-to-face sessions during term time. My approach is person-centred, meaning therapy is tailored to you and your individual needs. Alongside talking therapy, I also use creative interventions where appropriate, as I believe creativity can help us process emotions and experiences on a deeper and more authentic level.
Alongside private practice, I have extensive experience working within social, emotional and mental health settings, supporting clients with Autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, self-harm, learning needs and relationship challenges. I have also worked closely with parents, carers and professionals to support emotional wellbeing and strengthen relationships.
As Carl Rogers once said, “The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
Let’s process together.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
