Jasmin Boyt Counselling - BA (Hons) Humanistic Counselling MBACP
Thank you for viewing my profile.
I am a qualified Humanistic counsellor.
I have experience working in both short and long-term counselling arrangements and have extensive experience of working in a charity organisation with a variety of issues and diverse backgrounds.
My training in Person-Centred Theory and other theoretical approaches within Humanistic Psychology are the foundations of my working approach and personal philosophy and I integrate these accordingly to suit each individuals needs.
Life changes such as bereavements and relationship breakdowns, health changes and anxiety and depressive disorders can throw us off balance, with an inability to fully live the life we wish for. This in turn can lead to many difficulties and a spiral that may escalate out of control or lack a sense of direction. This can feel daunting and unsettling when travelling this path alone.
I have always had a passion for health and well-being and hold a positive view on mental health, thereby striving to work alongside you at your own pace; where I trust that a human being holds their own answers and ability to self-heal if given the right conditions.
I endeavour to facilitate you in finding what really matters to you and how to improve upon and explore new path ways that empower clarity, new perspectives, life improvements and transformations. I offer a safe and confidential space that fosters creativity, personal growth and individual autonomy.
I ensure to conduct myself professionally and consistently analyse my own personal strengths and weaknesses. Clients have found me to be helpful in supporting and improving anxiety, stress, grief, low self-esteem, low mood, effects of trauma, gaining different and renewed perspectives and direction, negative thoughts and working positively through relationship issues.
I adhere to:
- The BACP Ethical Framework and attend regular BACP Accredited Supervision
- Continued Personal and Professional Development
- Personal Therapy
- Self-Care Strategies
- Professional Record Keeping
Please call me or send me an email if you feel that we could work together.

MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
