I am a fully qualified MBACP professional integrative counsellor.

I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and work within their guidance and ethical framework.

I trained at City Lit College in central London.

I have a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling: integrative pathway.

During my training I dedicated two years as a volunteer with Hackney Headstrong, collaborating with a diverse clientele that included individuals of all ages, races, and sexual orientations.

My professional journey in counseling is now focused on working with adults online and face-to-face, within my private practice.

My experience encompasses a culturally diverse client base, addressing a wide range of issues listed above.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

Throughout different phases of my life, I faced numerous challenges and extremes that (on occasion) brought me psychological/emotional pain and upheaval.
Before pursuing a career in counseling, I enjoyed a successful journey in the creative arts. However, I faced a challenging period when my artistic endeavors lost relevance, leading to a sense of depression. Some might label this phase as a midlife crisis. Nonetheless, these encounters ultimately guided me toward one of the most rewarding decisions I've made — embarking on becoming a counselor.
As a result of training, I recognized the potential for transforming this experience into a midlife reset. As we age, our lives and values may undergo significant confusing shifts. I possess the expertise to assist individuals in resetting their life trajectories, guiding them toward a more positive direction.
