About me
I am an integrative therapist using a range of approaches - using interventions from a range of modalities including Person Centred, NLP, Rewind, DBT, TA plus many more.
I believe in creating a warm safe environment. I want my client's to feel safe enough to be challenged; I believe that Challenge promotes the biggest personal growth. I have had success and work well with issues such as; bereavement and loss, relationship issues including spouse, siblings or friends. I teach emotion regulation skills, communication skills, and coping skills. I can help you overcome people pleasing, unhealthy view of self and others, low confidence and self esteem.
In addition to this, I have been involved in therapy, mental health and addiction for the past 19 years. I have worked in both leading statutory and private organisations in the UK. I have a special interest in bpd/eupd and addiction. I welcome the LGBTQ+ community, I have had experience and success of working with this client group. I also have an interest in the sober community.
Exclusive Therapy
I am currently offering a 5 week online course in the management of bpd/eupd, this is a 9 part course, twice weekly 1:1 with me and inbetween session contact. This is an intense course aimed at clients who are ready to make changes. The course includes all the interventions you will need moving forward.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an accredited member of the bacp, I also hold a BSc Hons Degree in Psychosocial Mental Health from The University of Central Lancashire. In addition to this, I have a diploma in Integrative Counselling, Substance Misuse Level 3 and have trained in many other areas and am currently studying ADHD and Autism and DBT. I have recently trained in using NLP and Rewind skills for trauma. I believe that when it comes to therapy a tailored approach works best.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
