I support adults and couples with relationship or/and sexual difficulties, these may include difficulties with sex and intimacy for instance sexual pain, communication issues, use of porn or sexually compulsive behaviours, and erectile difficulties.
I also work with individual psychological or mental health issues which may include depression and low mood, anxiety, sex and relationship difficulties, sexuality, low self-esteem, work-based stress, trauma, compulsive behaviours, confidence, and relationship problems.
I have experience working with clients of all ages with/ without a diagnosis of ADHD/Autism.
Training, qualifications & experience
My experience comes from over 30 years working in the NHS, community and inpatient services as well as voluntary and community organisations and private practice. I have a 30 year history of working in mental health nursing and 20 years in psychotherapy working with groups, individuals, couples, and young people. I currently work as a senior lecturer in higher education teaching on a range of professional counselling and psychotherapy training programmes.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
