About me
We are living in a world where we have forgotten how to communicate. Stuck on our phones and in our online world. Do you feel you have lost your identity, lost your purpose, do you have feelings of being stuck, are life changes affecting you, do you want to know who are you now? Are you missing intimacy or sex in your relationship, struggling after an affair, or has contempt and resentment built up in your relationship? I can help.
Hi, my name is Grace, I am a sex and intimacy counsellor. I work with individuals and couples who are struggling with relationship issues, sex, intamcy, abuse, trauma and shame. I am passionate to help you learn who you are, by moving forward from feeling stuck, and to feel empowered by making positive change. As a couple I will help you learn to communicate again and build trust, honesty and intimacy.
Our sessions will give you a safe space to explore your patterns of behaviour, your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Our experience create our stories. What do you want the rest of your story to say? I can support you in building your confidence, self-worth and self-awareness with kindness and empathy.
I am fully insured, a member of the BACP and the ICO, and I hold a DBS check.
Training, qualifications & experience
I work with a humanistic, person centred style, I work with what you bring into the room with empathy and understanding. I can also be challenging at times
I specialising in, and have experience working with relationship issues, sexual trauma, including childhood sexual trauma, and rape. I can support you with abuse, loss of identity, communication issues, domestic abuse, attachment, low self-worth, major life changes, shame, etc… I can help you with depression and anxiety and will provide a safe space to look at your inner critic. I believe in connection with yourself and others.
I have a level 5 diploma in therapeutic counselling. I have attended numerous training courses, conferences and seminars, run by the BACP, CORST, PARCS and the HACP.
I have an understanding of neurodiversity and can adapt my practice to your individual needs.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I offer a free 15 min introductory call.
I see individual clients at £55 for 50 minutes. I offer a package of 6 sessions over 6 weeks for £300.
I see couple clients at £80 for 50 minutes.

Further information
I have a wonderful office space in the heart of whiteley. There is ample free parking and it is right by a picturesque pond. This is just off the m27 junction 9, half way between Portsmouth and Southampton.
I work from my office most weekdays and evenings. I offer face to face sessions, online and telephone.
I can take card payments, cash or bank transfers. I’m in the process of setting up a website, where you will be able to use an online booking system that will take payments for your ease. Until then please contact me so we can arrange an appointment.
