About me

Hi, my name is Grace, I am a relationship and intimacy counsellor. I work with a humanistic style and specialise in relationships, family issues, trauma, abuse, loss of identity and shame. I can help you with depression and anxiety and will provide a safe space to look at your inner critic. It is my passion to help people learn who they are, moving forward from feeling stuck, and to feel empowered by making positive change.

We are living in a world where we have forgotten how to communicate. Stuck on our phones and in our online world. Are you struggling with the idea that the social contract is broken? Do you feel you have lost your identity, lost your purpose, do you have feelings of being stuck, are life changes affecting you, do you want to know who are you now? Your experiences write your story. Let’s work out how your stories affect your relationships with yourself and others. Who do you want to be? What do you want the rest of your story to say?

I believe in connection with yourself and others. I believe in looking at the patterns in your behaviour and giving space to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions. I believe in building confidence, self-worth and self-awareness.

Please contact me today to arrange a free 15-minute phone call, where we can discuss your individual counselling needs.

I am fully insured, a member of the BACP and the ICO, and I hold a DBS check.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
