About me
Georga Gorrell is a Psychotherapist (MNCPS Acc.) and Fertility Counsellor (BICA, British Infertility Counselling Association) specialising in the emotional, psychological, and relational challenges of reproductive life.
She is the founder of CounsellingFertility.com - a specialist private practice created in response to the gap between medical fertility treatment and the emotional care people truly need. The practice offers therapy and implications counselling for individuals and couples at every stage of the fertility journey: before, during, and after treatment, as well as when no treatment is pursued.
Georga supports clients navigating infertility, TTC, IVF, IUI, ICSI, donor conception, surrogacy, miscarriage, childlessness, fertility preservation, egg freezing, solo motherhood, adoption and complex fertility-related decisions. Her work provides a space to make sense of the emotional, ethical, and relational aspects of fertility - the uncertainty, longing, identity shifts, and relationship strain that often accompany it.
Her approach is warm, grounded, and trauma-informed. She offers both implications counselling and on-going support, whether as one-off sessions, time-limited work around treatment, or longer-term therapy, holding space for the unique and personal nature of fertility experiences.
Georga works as an independent fertility counsellor partnered with Cambridge IVF (part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) as well as The LUNA Clinic, a private gynaecology practice on Harley Street in London.
How Georga Works
Georga works integratively, drawing on relational and depth psychology, attachment theory, trauma-informed practice, and mind–body awareness. This approach holds both the psychological and physiological impact of fertility experiences with sensitivity.
All sessions are currently held online, offering calm, confidential support throughout the UK.
