About me

People would describe me as a kind, approachable person that has a great deal of empathy for others. I work with individual adults and young people in clydebank area.

I am a Relational Integrative Counsellor this allows me to adapt my approach to fit the needs of my clients. This means I focus on building the therapeutic relationship to gain a better understanding of each client. I also integrate other therapeutic perspectives into my work including art and play therapy for children and attachment theory along with multiple others for adults.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a highly experienced counsellor with a Diploma in Relational Counselling that allows me to work using an integrative approach with both adults and children. Being an integrative counsellor allows me to adapt my approach to fit the needs of my clients.

I am a Registered Member of COSCA and regularly undertake Supervision and Continual Professional Development for my work.  This ensures that I have a reflective practice and it also helps me to continue to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of my work.

Further information

During my training I specialised in children and young people, and I have been fortunate to work in a range of settings from the charity sector to working in schools since qualifying.  I provide a safe space for my clients to explore what they wish to work on whether that be adults or children and young people. I love nothing more than when you are working with clients and you can see the therapeutic change happening for them, it’s truly rewarding to see how much clients can benefit from counselling.
