Specialist Neurodivergent Adult Counselling

About me

I specialise in working with neurodivergent adults in Dover, Kent, and across the UK, including those who identify as Autistic, have ADHD, Sensory Processing difficultiesDyspraxia (Developmental Coordination Disorder) and many other conditions. I also support adults who are wondering if they might be Neurodivergent or seeking a formal diagnosis. Many of my clients feel exhausted from masking, misunderstood by others, or unsure how to navigate life after a diagnosis. I also support parents and young adults adjusting to a new or late diagnosis, helping them process complex emotions and find practical coping strategies.

I also work with adults of all backgrounds experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or life transitions, whether they are neurodivergent or not. Sometimes the roots of these difficulties are clear, other times less obvious. Together, we explore what matters to you and work on strategies that feel realistic and supportive.

I offer warm, flexible counselling, using evidence-based approaches. Sessions are available as weekly, fortnightly or monthly 50 minutes appointments or as single 90-minute appointments, either in person in Dover or via video/telephone or text across England, Scotland, and Wales.

I also have over 80 hours additional specialised training in online counselling, ensuring it is safe and effective. This method works particularly well for clients managing anxiety, agoraphobia, work shifts, or parenting responsibilities without regular childcare.

Taking the first step can feel daunting — that’s normal. You don’t need to know exactly where to start. Contact me by phone or email, and we’ll begin from wherever you are, at a pace that works for you.
