About me

As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I use various therapeutic modalities and interventions, that suits each client best to support their journey to better understanding of themself and how to improve their mental wellbeing, building resilience and restoring self worth along the way. Clients go at their own pace and are in the driving seat, promoting their autonomy and building a sense of agency.

Individual therapy   I understand how difficult it can be to start the therapy journey.  We work together with what you choose to work on, selecting counselling and psychotherapy approaches that you find work well for you, to uncover the driving force behind your difficulties and empower you towards change.  Are you feeling high levels of anxiety, or overwhelmed / stuck and can't seem to move forward? Perhaps you want to find what is causing persistent anxiety or depression, feeling sad, negative thinking, or understand why you are repeating the same patterns and/or unwanted behaviours? Do you find you are pleasing everyone but yourself?  Maybe lacking in confidence and low self-esteem? Accommodating a loud critical voice? Find out who you are and what makes you 'tic'. Discovering what is at the root of your issues to understand and be able to make positive and lasting changes, so you can move forward and enjoy better health and wellbeing. Or maybe you just want to talk about current issues in a confidential and non-judgemental safe space, where exploration can help to identify solutions.

Couples therapy     Supportive, mediative, non-judgmental, impartial and respectful counselling to explore and understand the dynamics affecting the relationship, and find solutions to overcome difficulties such  as: Communication issues, repair and restore, unmet needs of one or both, conflict management, understanding own and each others' behaviours and patterns.

  • Romantic partners
  • Family members
  • Valued friendships

If it is concluded that there are irreconcilable differences then it can also help with ending of the relationship.

Specialism : Adult ADHD  I have a personal & professional experience and further training with working with adult ADHD, helping clients to understand who they are within the context of this neurodiversity, working with their own presenting traits rather than against them, working to identify those maladapted behaviours and core beliefs that are untrue and is hampering growth, adding to the intensity of traits and harmful to our wellbeing.  I actively promote for better awareness and work with other ADHD organisations.

Specialism : Inner-Child therapy to become aware of the human needs that were unmet in childhood, allowing exploration of beliefs and coping strategies which maybe holding back growth, and recognition of forgotten emotions that can often make sense of our patterns of thinking, drivers and triggers.  We often look back from an adult perspective, with a fully grown rational brain and developed emotional intelligence, which can diminish the actual emotional experience of our child selves.  From a viewpoint of our childhood environment where we take our learning from, caregivers, teaching institutions, extended family, culture, religion, society etc... Inner child work helps to validate that child experience at the time and give them a voice and opportunity to give that part of us compassion and understanding.   We can gain a lot of insight into what may still be influencing us in adult hood.

As a qualified holistic therapist ( Reflexology, Reiki and Hypnotherapy) I can also help clients to understand the mind and body connections and how physical and mental health interact together.

In person (Northampton Area) or online UK & limited international.   Evenings (online only), weekend and fortnightly sessions available.
