I know the struggles of trying to fit into a society that isn't built for everybody. I know how hard it is for individuals with Autism, ADHD and also the transgender/non binary community.

I can help.
Having lived experience of ADHD/Autism means that I can really relate to your difficulties. I can also understand the struggles that arise from being transgender or non-binary.
I am a mum of two who is passionate about supporting you through these difficult times when you are feeling you cannot cope. I have a personal understanding of how this can manifest through anxiety and depression.
Counselling is your chance to be truly heard.
I can offer sessions online, face-to-face, or as part of a walk and talk therapy session.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have lived experienced of ADHD/Autism. I also have experience of gender identity, anxiety and trauma.
I have worked with adults and young people in these fields and I also have a lot of experience in bereavement counselling.
I am a fully qualified Counsellor with a DipHE level 5 in therapeutic counselling and a Counselling skills certificate. I am an individual member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am fully insured and I also have an enhanced DBS.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
