About me
Hello ..
Please Note:
IF CONTACTING ME DIRECTLY, DO LEAVE YOUR CONTACT NUMBER
I am an approachable and experienced Psychotherapist, who applies both a directive/non-directive skills set when supporting client presentations. I work alongside clients who are processing low mood/anxiety, through to trauma/mental health complexities. I hold many years of professional intervention; have worked in sectors of the NHS, Rape Crisis Centres, Work-based settings, and was a Manager of an all night Mental Health crisis service.
My Practice philosophy has been shaped by my years of this experience, and has become very influential in the application of my work with clients. I bring a diversity of skills to achieve the client's outcome, and depth of their therapeutic experience.
To meet a flexible access to therapy. I now offer an In Person private service in SK9, and from my Practice space in M16 (Alderley Edge & Manchester) as well as an Online service. Whether your choice is to address an isolated matter, a combination of influencing factors, or an unresolved historic trauma; together we address how best to find resolution for you.
Selecting the right Practitioner is essential in achieving the outcome you search for. This relationship is a fundamental part in supporting how you move through and grow forward with those changes you wish to make. An initial session with me is offered as a Consultation, from which we are able to learn more about each other and our therapy journey together, before deciding to continue further.
I provide ' Affordable Online Therapy for Students '
There are no limits to how you can connect with me; directly or via the Counselling Directory, though for another source of enquiry and securing my response, I do also invite WhatsApp or Text 07766200100 (It would be most helpful to know your choice of engagement for therapy, and of the location, should you prefer In Person)
I hope my profile has provided you with a brief introduction to me, in your search for support ..
Kindest regards
Donna “Therapy for the right now, and the long-term”

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
