About me

Hello and welcome. I have worked in the wellbeing field for 16 years supporting both adults and young people.

I am passionate about supporting people in a non judgemental way, offering a safe space where problems can be identified and overcome. Sometimes we just need someone to talk to freely, who doesn’t judge or hand out unwanted advice. Someone you know is really listening to how your feeling and help you make sense of what going on.

As a qualified counsellor, I offer an integrative approach to which is drawing on the Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic and CBT models. I feel that each model has its own merit, however by incorporating all 3 gives a stronger support program.

I work with many people online or in my therapy space at home in Harrogate. I am also happy to visit you in your home or safe space as well as offer walk and talk therapy.

I work with a wide range of issues but specialise in anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties and drug or alcohol issues.

I have over 16 years in the health and well-being field, originally qualifying as a social worker and then a counsellor.
