About me

Hi my name is Daniela, welcome to my profile.

I understand that deciding to start counselling can feel like a big step.  From the start of therapy I encourage my clients to feel empowered through the therapy process whether that be that you have lost a loved one, experiencing family issues, relationship breakdown, anxiety, workplace stress, depression, postnatel depression, lacking in confidence, low self esteem, feeling alone.

Its common to be experiencing a few of these life issues at the same time, which can lead to feeling overwhelmed and emotionally distressed.

I am a fully qualified person centred therapist and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  As a person centred therapist my aim is to help you gain a deeper sense of self and develop strategies to help manage painful or difficult feelings within a non judgemental safe space enabling us to explore, reflect and identify triggers that may be contributing to how your feelings in the here and now.

Together we can build a therapeutic trusting relationship and begin our journey allowing you to find inner peace and healing.  Lets re discover your own inner strengths, with my support enabling you to find your own answers within youself.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation giving us the chance to see if I can help you and if you would like to work together.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
