About me
When people seek the support of a counsellor or therapist, many are often looking to 'fix' a problem. Something might just not feel quite 'right' or you may be consciously aware of what your issue is. I imagine you may have tried several ways to work through this already.
If you want to make genuine changes, to experience a richer, and more fulfilled life but don't know where to start, then therapy can really help.
My main training and theoretical background is Transactional Analysis & Integrative Psychotherapy. The aim of psychotherapy and counselling is to help you deal more effectively with your past and present challenges and make decisions for your future that enhance your wellbeing. I enjoy the work I do immensely as I work with my clients to gain self-awareness and lead a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
In our sessions we will look at identifying what it is you would like to work through in therapy, look at the obstacles you have and how you 'get in your own way', and we will work together to help you get to the place in your life you would like to be.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy for adults, couples, and groups.
I am committed to providing a confidential, secure, and supportive environment to explore and work through your difficulties.
If you have any queries, or would like to arrange a session please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
