About me

I am an Integrative therapist working with adults and young people to provide therapy and counselling services. My aim is to give you a safe space to express how you feel, understand your goals for therapy and work together to take steps towards achieving those goals. Through my experience working in different settings such as a Staff counsellor at ChildLine, staff therapist in multiple counselling agencies and a private therapist, I am able to work at your pace, provide an approach that is specific to your needs and give a therapy that works for you.

As an integrative therapist, I provide a therapy that suits your needs. This can be very diverse and includes processing past traumas/experiences, suicidal feelings, managing stress and anxiety, working with low mood and depression, relationship issues, work and school issues, self-harm, managing feelings and learning to cope.

As a therapist, I understand how hard it can be not just experiencing these feelings, but trying to talk about them and change them. That is why I'm here to work with you in a way that works for you. That means giving you a safe space to talk, help you understand these feelings and when you are ready, working towards your goals and meaningful change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I've had a wealth of experience working with different client groups across services such as ChildLine and Counselling agencies, this has helped me develop a person-centred approach so we can work together to find a therapy that works for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
