Ashleigh Duncan Dip. Couns MBACP
Welcome, your visit suggests you may be facing some challenges in life?
Are you feeling overwhelmed by your emotions or struggling to make sense of your thoughts? Maybe it is you are feeling anxious, depressed, insecure or experiencing negative thought/behavioural patterns or low moods. Perhaps you are faced with problems within your personal relationships or are troubled over past relationships/experiences? It could be that you simply wish to make some positive changes within your life or outlook. Whatever the reason for your visit, counselling can help.
Together, in a safe, comfortable, confidential environment, we can explore your issues developing coping strategies to overcome them.
I offer bespoke counselling and therapy tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
I implore to work with my clients with an approach which compliments their own personality as well as meets their individual therapeutic needs.
I promise to support you in any way I can which usually comes in the form of one on one counselling however this can be adjusted should your needs require so.
I am an integrated Counsellor incorporating 4 of the main counselling approaches to my therapy(Person Centered Counselling, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, CBT and Psycho-dynamic Theory), in doing so I tailor the therapy to each client rather than the client to the therapy.
I hold further qualifications in alternative therapies to support my clients in all areas, these may be incorporated in our sessions, should your needs require so.
I work with most issues; common examples being anxiety, generalised anxiety, relationship issues, depression, feeling sad, panic, family issues, affairs, betrayal, boundary setting,
separation and divorce, addiction, child related issues, low self esteem, alcoholism, bereavement, emotional abuse, low self-confidence, anger management, sexual abuse, behavior patterns/problems, trauma, work related stress, career dilemmas, infertility, spirituality.
