Throughout our lives there can be times when we feel overwhelmed and wonder how we got to that place for a whole range of reasons. Counselling enhances self-awareness and from that the opportunity to allow new possibilities to emerge and changes to take place leading to a happier and more fulfilling life.
As a Registered MBACP Counsellor, I am professionally trained to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore what is important to you. I work with clients on issues that are causing stress and anxiety in their present life. It is important to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and how to manage difficulties you may be facing.
Issues I frequently work with include depression, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, bereavement, loss, grief and human relationships. I am experienced in dealing with life transition (or life changes) related to health conditions, menopause, becoming a new parent, retirement, relocation to a new area, career or work situations. I also work with university students experiencing stress related to settling into new life and integration.
When dealing with complex issues in life, they can be difficult to express to friends and family; our work will help you move towards accepting and supporting yourself without fear of judgement.
I am Integratively trained, which means I use the most appropriate counselling skills to suit your individual needs. Professionally I see how each clients issues and coping strategies are as unique as they are.
