About me
Welcome, I hope this site piques your interest and makes you wonder how I can help you.
To establish a relationship based on mutual respect and trust, I provide a private area where we may discuss and resolve any issues you may be having. My method is compassionate; I can work with a wide variety of individuals from many cultural backgrounds.
My experience comes from working with charities in Eastbourne and at BHASVIC College in Hove. I helped people struggling with infertility, anxiety, fear, despair, guilt, trauma, low self-esteem, menopause, family problems, codependency, depression, relationships, loss, bereavement, grieving, miscarriages, and baby loss.
Training, qualifications & experience
I provide person-centred counselling, humanistic and intuitive work, inner child, and internal family systems.
My experience comes from offering therapy at colleges and charities as well as running my practice in Brighton and Hove.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
I adhere to the counselling profession's professional ethics because it provides me with a stable foundation on which to work with my clients.
Has there ever been an uneasy sensation of having a lot of weight on your chest or abdomen? You feel a knot in your throat as you struggle to say the words.
Have you ever wanted to cut people off out of fear of being harmed or of feeling ignored and alone?
You feel scared and powerless, even though you want to display bravery and strength.
Our initial efforts will focus on establishing a secure environment and cultivating mutual respect and trust within our therapeutic alliance. My clients can express their thoughts and feelings in a transparent, secure setting without fear of judgement.
I will tailor the sessions to your specific needs and make recommendations based on what I believe will contribute to your growth. I like to add elements of Gestalt and the internal family system. You have my respect, and I will be open to your opinions. Sometimes I'll give you challenges to grow and become more self-aware. Together, we will explore different aspects of your life, allowing you to gain insight into your behaviours and emotions. This collaborative approach aims to empower you and foster a deeper understanding of yourself, ultimately leading to meaningful change.
