About me

I am an experienced art psychotherapist working with children and adults with emotional and psychological needs; including mental health conditions, addictions and difficulties associated with neuro-developmental needs.

Art psychotherapy supports exploring our nonverbal expressions, as well as through talking, to help us gain awareness of our unconscious processes that may inadvertently get in our way. No one needs to be 'good' at art to benefit and art therapists do not analyse your artwork.

Everyone has once been creative as a child and art psychotherapy supports people to understand themselves both through talking together and also by engaging with their creativity once again, to understand their own images.

The way I work is person centred, compassionate and tailored to your wishes, needs and goals for therapy. I believe that there is an innate pull in everyone, to want to work toward and reach their personal potential for happiness and fulfillment. This is a creative drive in itself and art psychotherapy can gently guide this process toward wholeness, in what can be an enjoyable and relaxing way.

I offer face to face therapy sessions in my home studio (materials included) and can offer online sessions too.
