About me

When searching for a therapist, it can be a daunting experience but extremely liberating once you begin your journey in therapy. As a qualified integrative counsellor I offer a welcoming, warm, safe space where we explore the challenges you have been facing and seek the best strategies to support you to find relief, whether this is for a short while or longer term, I am able to journey alongside you. I offer open-ended therapy so you have peace of mind that you can finish your therapy when you are ready.

My integrative approach to counselling/psychotherapy is rooted in a pluralistic integration model as my way of working collaboratively with you and offering shared decision-making. It allows me to draw from person-centred, existential psychotherapy, reality therapy, psychodynamic, and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), providing the best routes for your individual needs.

I see every client as a person of worth, in need of support and understanding to heal and move forward from their difficulty. It is very important to me that my clients feel respected, heard, understood, and validated.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation session on zoom so we can meet each other in order to help decide if we work well together. Thereafter each session can be online or face-to-face and it lasts for 50 minutes.

In the first session, we will assess your needs and agree on goals for therapy. The number of sessions depends on your needs. I offer shorter therapy or longer-term and open-ended therapy.

I currently have availability at present, you can email me to discuss this further and schedule a 15mins free consultation session.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
