About me
Hi, I’m Adele and I understand how important it is to be truly listened to!
Do you ever feel unseen, unheard, or undervalued? Are you struggling with anger, hurt and insecurities? Or do you feel overwhelmed and can’t find the best way forward? You may have tried to talk to family and friends, but you end up listening to their problems instead, or you just feel judged and misunderstood. Well, you have taken that first brave step to changing that by searching for the right therapist for you.
Safe Place
My wish is to provide that safe space in a warm, accepting, and supportive environment, to listen and really explore those difficult issues and thoughts. We can sweep out those dark dusty corners, gently exploring what is going on for you and together find new ways for you to flourish and live life. This process will promote personal growth, healing, and repair, discovering an inner strength and energy you never knew you had.
About me.
I work as an Integrative counsellor/ therapist in the West Midlands. I help run a business as well as volunteer one day in a school. I have experience with adults, children and young people and offer face to face or remote sessions by Zoom or telephone. I have worked with a range of problems, including, low self-esteem, anxiety, panic, low mood and depression, relationship, and family problems as well as grief, bereavement, abuse, post-natal depression, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. This list is not exhaustive and very often the presenting issue will unearth other hidden areas of disharmony.
How I work.
As an Integrative counsellor, I have knowledge and experience in several therapeutic methods. Each person is unique, and therefore I adapt my work to suit your needs. I will be led by you, empathically listening without judgment, working together to achieve the best outcome, enabling you to realise your next steps with clarity.
I offer both short- and long-term therapy, in person or online, with some evening and weekend availability.
I have a comfortable, private counselling room in a convenient location close to Sutton Coldfield centre. There is plenty of nearby parking or we can work remotely online or by telephone.
Maybe you are not quite sure where to start and want to talk through your options, to find direction and make a choice. Take that first step today and reach out for the support you need. There are always options.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
