About us
Harley Street Counselling and Training draws upon 25 years of experience in the private sector.
Our service includes individual counselling, psychotherapy, C.B.T, ego state therapy and coaching provided by a small team of therapists competent to work within their therapeutic model. Counselling sessions are confidential and a G.P. referral is not required in most cases.
We have counsellors that work therapeutically with Adults, teens, young people, and older adults. If we cannot assist you, we always endeavour to put you in touch with someone outside of the practice who can.
Therapy can be accessed from the following locations in both London and Kent.
- Harley Street, City of Westminster. W1G.
- Tunbridge Wells. TN1.
- Remote online platform (FaceTime/Zoom).
We will experience times in our lives when we feel our ability to cope is impaired. We might be clear about why this is and other times it feels more confusing to find a reason. Counselling might help you to find a way forward. A counsellor can help enable you to:
1. Work through issues such as anxiety, depression and addiction.
2. Be guided by specific techniques.
3. Help you find your own solutions.
4. Offers a supportive space when addressing problems that are difficult to discuss.
5. Offers a supportive space when working through difficult feelings.
Our therapists have specific experience to provide counselling for depression, counselling for addiction, counselling for anxiety including health anxiety and generalised anxiety disorder, counselling for bereavement and stress management.

Member organisations *
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
