About us
My name is Yolanda Frost, and I am one of the Tunbridge Wells based therapists at Harley Street Counselling and Training who specialises in counselling adults 18+.
I listen and collaborate with clients and guide them through current and past events and challenge old beliefs that no longer serve them.
This builds awareness and empowers clients to move forward with enhanced self-esteem and a stronger sense of belonging. I incorporate practical methods like Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and draw from various influences to provide tailored tools and techniques for each client's unique situation. The therapeutic relationship is a solid foundation for our work, which will give you the confidence to work successfully with me.
With professional experience in various areas, including private and voluntary care settings and collaboration with Emergency Services and the NHS, I understand the intricate connection between physical and mental health. Counselling has positively impacted clients' lives and their families.
I have a particular experience in bereavement counselling, supporting individuals experiencing different levels of loss. In the aftermath of lockdown, many people are grappling with loss and heightened health anxiety. I provide a safe space for clients to explore and express their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, addiction, anger, loneliness, relationship issues, feeling overwhelmed, depression, attachment concerns, acculturation, life transitions, bereavement, or coming to terms with a terminal diagnosis, I am here to offer support.
If we cannot help you, we may know someone outside of the practice who can.

Member organisations *
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
