About me

My name is Trish. I am a couples & individual counsellor.  My passion is helping couples who find themselves stuck for whatever reason. Supporting them to move forward whilst learning to understand themselves and their partners better.  Couples come to see me for all host of reasons.  I offer a safe space, where there is no judgement or blame, just openness to the process. It never hurts to make an enquiry to see if I am the correct person for you.

I also love supporting people while their find their voice, helping them when the mask of "I'm fine" becomes too heavy to carry alone. Supporting people to recover from their trauma, people pleasing and anxiety is a true passion.

I am here to hear your story, how it was for you, how it is impacting your life now and how you would like your future to look.

I understand it is not an easy process especially if you suffer with anxiety, but I am here to offer you support and connect in whichever way feels right to you.  You can call me, email me, DM me, Facebook, instagram, whattsap me or text me - Libra Counselling service. I look forward to our paths crossing, Trish

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
