About me

Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile today.

If you have been feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, are these new feelings that are recent or have they been around for a longer period of time.

Are you feeling higher levels of frustration in your life? Do you feel you are not coping or managing, in the same ways you were able to or could do before? Are you also experiencing higher levels of Stress, Anxiety, or more Anger than before, if you recognise you are, how are these impacting on how you think, feel, and behave, or on how you see yourself.

Do you feel these feelings have changed or are changing from before?

Are you finding it harder, or maybe struggling to find the happiness, or are you unable to put it back in to your life? As a result is this impacting on the relationships you have or how you communicate with the people around you, do you think these could be better or improved on?.

If any of this sounds familiar to you or if you can answer YES to any of these questions, describing how you have felt or do feel right now.

Pick up the phone and give me a call or email me and tell me about how this is impacting on you.

After the telephone call we will then arrange a date for you to see me online for your free 30 minute online Zoom or telephone consultation. This provides the opportunity for us to firstly both meet each other, and you can tell me more about you and what you feel you need help and support with. We will then arrange a date to book you in for more sessions and we can begin working together in the counselling process, with you learning, understanding how you can begin living a happier more fulfilled life.

You can do this by exploring what is impacting on you right now in the present moment, at a place in your life when you need some extra help and support to work out what it is you really want for yourself, to make the changes you need to get what you want out of your life, that you maybe don’t have right now.

Let me help and support you by working, helping and supporting you in an Integrative way, i will be doing this by working with you mainly in a person centred way, which means me and our sessions will be for you, providing you a safe space so you can use these sessions in any way that you need to with out any assumptions, opinions or judgements from me.

Also I am working with you blending different insights and elements of both CBT and Psychodynamic modalities, I am constantly adapting my ways of working with you, enabling me to continue to work flexibly whilst still meeting your individual needs.

By working, focusing on only you and working with only your agenda, I can focus on your areas of concern at all times, meaning you will always be the priority in the work we do together, I am always working at your own pace, time, and always by your lead.

Within our sessions you can continue to focus and explore what is concerning, impacting or worrying you. I do feel when we are in times of difficulty or when something has been upsetting us over a period of time. were begin finding ourselves becoming more stuck in life, feeling more hopelessness, as a ripple effect of this you begin asking yourself questions, and then are struggling to have or know the answers, or to know how to find a solution, which means it can all begin impacting on you a lot more, not just on our mental and physical well-being, but on our overall happiness too.

Many people when they are experiencing this find they can’t move on in life and begin having, experiencing increasing much higher levels of anxiety, stress and being overwhelmed, and can also experience feelings of despair, this is when  feel counselling and talking therapy can really help you, not just to open up and think about what’s going on, but also by talking and exploring in our sessions, you are also beginning to understand what it is impacting you, and how.

I do also feel this enables you to in turn to begin the process of working through what it is you need to do on your life, so you can find the answers to the questions.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
