About me

COVID-19 Update: I have Online and Phone sessions available to support you during these unprecedented times.

Do any of the following seem familiar to you?:
* Are your emotions or moods causing you distress?
* Is a problem feeling unmanageable, alone or with help from friends & family?
* Have you lost interest in life or think it’s not worth living?
* Is there a lot of conflict in relationships with others?
* Do you have a problem you cannot seem to solve?

If the answer is ‘Yes’ to any of the above, and you would like to make some changes in your life but are not sure how to start, maybe it’s time to get help.

As a counsellor I am trained to actively listen and work with you in taking the positive step toward managing and developing a more satisfying quality of life. Face to face or online, I can provide a confidential and non judgemental environment so that you and I can work together to make the best possible version of you, that you wish to be.

I am able to offer both short and long term counselling using TA psychotherapy models along side my counselling skills. I work confidentially, face to face in my treatment room or Online using the safe and secure encrypted ZOOM facility.

Please feel free to contact me on 07795 525 128 or 01233 756111, if I don’t answer I may be with a client so please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Alternatively you can Email me at staniafrances@gmail.com.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
