About us

My philosophy as a human and as a counselling psychologist is based on my strong belief that every human being is unique and that we have an innate capability to heal from distressing life experiences. I love working with people using a compassion-focused foundation to help them to move towards a more compassionate relationship with themselves. I feel truly privileged to be part of a process where someone can use the scaffold of our work together to achieve a balance in their life and relationships that brings them joy. The golden thread of compassion informing our work is not simply an approach to therapy but a new way of relating and being with ourselves, or as I like to say a new superpower for living.  Compassion isn’t always easy, it’s certainly not soft but it might just be the most powerful and loving thing that you can do for yourself. Why don’t you join me a fellow human who would love to provide a scaffold and tools to help you move towards your goals in life.

Therapy is unique to each person and can be a single model or drawn from a range of models depending on your preferences and needs.  The psychological models I use in practice include Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I offer a warm and friendly therapy space without any judgement. I work in person and offer online sessions via Zoom. Take the first step, the leap of faith and get in touch to begin our work together. I would love to meet you, hear your story, and work with you to achieve your goals.
