About me
If you have found me then you are looking for support in your life, maybe you have problems in your relationship, with work, or a feeling of anxiety or depression that you can’t seem to shake off, or perhaps someone you love has died recently or even a long time ago and you are struggling to understand or comprehend life without them. Life is tough but you are stronger.
I can help you to navigate and better understand any life stressors that you are facing, through a personalised and holistic approach tailored personally to your own needs. This experienced approach has been developed through my time working with employees within employee assistance programmes and also my continued work as a bereavement counsellor.
My work is solution focused and based around my own beliefs that with the right counsellor and a strong relationship together anyone can grow and learn new life skills to enable them to deal with life on life terms and a better sense of emotional well being.
This approach has been valued from all of my clients who have all felt a great benefit from working together and enhancing their emotional intelligence to a level where they feel empowered and have a deeper understanding of themselves and how to manage whatever life challenges they may face now and in the future.
I offer a warm comfortable space in a private office for face-to-face sessions or telephone/Zoom appointments.
I have a Diploma in therapeutic counselling an enhanced DBS, full private insurance, a member of the ICO and have full membership of the BACP.
My fees are charged at £45.00 per session.
Please feel free to contact me through email or send a text to my number and I will get back to you to arrange an initial phone call to answer any other questions you might have before we start our first session. Look forward to working with you.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
