About me

I am a fully qualified person centred counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I offer a safe and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. I have a genuine and warm way of being and my aim is to work alongside you to support your insight, healing and growth.

Life can be challenging at times, leaving us with a mixture of emotions. Are you feeling overwhelmed, lost or confused? Do you lack a sense of purpose? Is something holding you back from living the life you want to live? Perhaps your past experiences are having an impact on you and are stopping you from being the person you want to be. Having been through my own life struggles, I understand how hard it can be to reach out for help, Counselling has been a huge part of my own journey and after noticing how it helped me, I wanted to help others in the same way.

The therapeutic relationship is key in my approach. I offer compassion and authenticity. I am committed to providing the best care possible for each of my clients. We are all individual and no two people are the same, so each session is designed on an individual basis and tailored around your needs.

I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and confidential environment for you to talk about whatever is troubling you, whether it is from the past or more recent, your thoughts and feelings can be explored at your own pace with a view to fostering autonomy and change. I will support you on your journey, promoting self-awareness and helping you find your own answers and solutions that are right for you.

I  work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, loss, low self-esteem, stress, family and relationship problems and unresolved childhood trauma.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
