About me
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lost or confused and finding that talking to friends isn`t helping anymore? Do you lack a sense of purpose, or is something holding you back from living the life you want to live? Life can be full of challenges and sometimes we need help to make sense of what is going on. Prehaps your past experiences are having an impact on you and are stopping you from being the person you want to be.
I offer a warm, compassionate and down to earth approach. Supporting you on your journey of change with genuine care. I provide a safe space where you can confidently share your story without fear of judgement. At your own pace I can help you to explore the root causes and triggers of your emotional responses, helping you build greater self awareness and a deeper understanding of your life, relationships and the situations around you. Together we`ll work towards uncovering the answers and solutions that feel right and meaningful for you.
I work with adults and children, helping to develop effective strategies for managing stress, anxiety, emotional challenges and supporting overall well being. By developing practical strategies i`ll` support you in navigating life with a greater sense of control even during challenging times. My aim is to help you feel more grounded, develop coping strategies, build resilience and move forward with a greater sense of confidence, self awareness and a renewed sense of empowerment.
While I support with a wide range of issues I have specialist training and experience working with trauma with a particular focus on working with individuals affected by sexual abuse.
I am a qualified CYP counsellor (children and young people) I have experience working in schools supporting with a wide range of issues including anxiety, grief, neurodiversity, self-esteem and school related challenges. Using creative tools such as art, play and creative activities I can help your child to explore their feelings, make sense of their experiences, build resilience and coping skills.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
