About me
Hampstead CBT is a friendly, down to earth evidence based talking therapies service based in the heart of Hampstead. Trained in effective approaches to dealing with a range of real life difficulties from within the field of psychology, I have been applying these within NHS settings, diverse populations and professional settings across London since 2008. If you have a concern that you’d like to address in a confidential, discreet and non- judgemental space, then you’ve come to the right place. My approach is one that supports the change you want to create in your personal life and career.
I am accepting new patients in person and online and am registered with the main health insurance providers. Please refer to my website, or Psychology Today profile (Hampstead CBT) for further information. The best way to contact me is by email.
From your perspective, you will be looking for someone you feel safe with, someone you can trust and open up to in order to be able to delve into whatever difficulties you are bringing. No problem is too big, too scary, or too shameful to talk about in therapy- rest assured, I'm on your team and want to help you succeed as much as possible. I've seen it all, and my role is to facilitate your process in a confidential, non- judgemental space where we can bat around ideas, explore, test and problem solve together to help you get the best outcomes.
From my side, I look for a willingness to speak about your difficulties and experiences, as well as some capacity for self-examination, self-reflection, introspection and personal insight which can develop over time in therapy. A willingness to consider different perspectives and try new things as a route to change is crucial, otherwise if we keep doing the same old thing, nothing will change.
Training, qualifications & experience
My primary therapeutic grounding is in Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), an approach to change that’s solution focused, practical and geared towards achieving goals specific to your life circumstances and challenges you feel are holding you back. Over the years, I've done extensive professional training so I tailor my approach to each unique individual.
My particular specialities are working with trauma, life transitions and relationship difficulties.
I routinely attend workshops and trainings annually to keep up my professional accreditation. In addition to my primary grounding and professional registration as a CBT therapist , I am also interested in training more broadly to encompass other modalities and perspectives reflected in some of the trainings below:

Further information
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a highly effective approach to change that’s solution focused, practical and geared towards achieving specific goals chosen by you. These are very individual and wide ranging, specific to your particular life circumstances and challenges you may feel are holding you back.
Whatever your difficulties, we can offer an individual assessment to help identify key challenges and outcomes you hope to achieve at the first instance, followed by a uniquely tailored treatment programme to support your personal journey.
This process is collaborative, solution focused and led by the priorities you identify. We start with some exploratory work to better understand the origins of present day difficulties and how they developed, as well as what’s keeping them going right now. For some people, a detailed assessment and formulation may be enough to give you the boost that you need to start making changes. However, many people find it helpful to have an experienced clinician guide them through a reflective learning process whereby you can start taking concrete steps towards achieving your goals.
Sessions are usually weekly, or they can be twice weekly. I like to offer flexibility since no two people or their dilemmas are the same. Sometimes longer sessions can be beneficial for specific types of issues, or may just suit your personality type or communication style better.
