I use a combination of contemporary and evidence based methods and strategies to support clients in their recovery.
I am highly effective and experienced Integrative BACP Accredited counsellor, a EMDR Therapist, CPD facilitator and lecturer. I am also qualified as a Clinical Supervisor. I have a breadth of experience in providing therapy & professional development training for practising counsellors. I specialise in working with clients who have suffered complex trauma in either childhood and/or adulthood, who are experiencing low self esteem and low confidence issues, anxiety and/or depression.I offer a private and confidential service, set in a tranquil setting, where we will work together to help you make successful changes that you want in your life.
My therapeutic experience encompasses working within the NHS and Private Practice with individuals, couples and families who are experiencing relationship issues & breakdown, depression, anxiety, Trauma from an event such as a car accident or violent attack, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD), phobias, eating issues, addiction problems & obsessive behaviours. I have also had a vast experience working clients who have complex issues including those who are suffering from complex bereavement, victims or rape and/or child abuse or domestic violence, along with those who are coming to terms with a disability or a mental health issue. I am currently working with a variety of businesses whose employees are experiencing work related stress.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have attained a Certificate in Counselling Studies, where I was trained in the Psychodynamic school of thought and a Level 4 Diploma in Integrated Counselling Theory and Practice. I have also achieved a distinction in my Post Graduate Diploma in Supervision and am a fully qualified EMDR Therapist who is working towards my accreditation with EMDR UK & Ireland.
I am an Accredited Member of the BACP and have completed my Teacher Training with Canterbury Christchurch University. My therapeutic experience encompasses working with:

My fees are £50 per hour for therapy and supervision. I offer a reduced fee of £40 for school, college, university students, retired individuals and trainee counsellors.
