About me
Do you find yourself anxious and have no idea why?
Perhaps you would like to understand where that constant, nagging inner critic comes from?
Do you find yourself frequently saying yes to things that you don't want to do?
Maybe there are those red flags in your relationships that are telling you that something is wrong, and you feel confused?
Whatever your issues I am here to help.
I primarily help people, like you, to navigate difficult relationships and to put in healthy boundaries so that you can become happier, more relaxed and have better wellbeing.
Counselling with me will be your opportunity to explore the difficulties that you are experiencing. Together we can talk about ways to help you through your turbulent times.
Life throws us many curve balls and it's okay to feel like we are struggling from time to time. It's not always easy to figure things out alone. That's where I can help you.
My previous clients have found a way through the issues that have made them feel 'stuck' for many years. Therapy isn't always easy and there will be some level of discomfort in order to make changes happen.
Ultimately therapy is worth the uncomfortable feelings to make a breakthrough and make lasting, positive changes!
I know from experience how difficult life can be sometimes. I also know just how difficult it can feel to ask for help. Please rest assured that counselling with me will be relaxed and I make every effort to make you feel comfortable. I will help you to empower yourself to make wise, clear decisions and give you strategies to deal with your problems.
I am also an Holistic Health coach which means that I look at you holistically. We can look at your whole life where necessary including sleep, nutrition, and exercise. All of these things have an impact on your mental health too!
Getting in touch...
Please call or text me for further information and we can have a brief chat over the phone or you can email me for further information. In the introductory chat I can advise you on how I might be able to help you and we can make an appointment.
I will always respond or answer your email as quick as possible.
Training, qualifications & experience
I use different types of therapy modalities in my practice depending on what best suits your needs. I ensure my clients are given resources and skills to take away with them after each session so that they can practice and begin the process of change.
I may use mindfulness and relaxation techniques, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Attachment.
We will work on raising emotional awareness and how our thinking can influence our emotions and behaviours. In this way we might work on reframing thoughts and rewiring thinking habit to help you to feel better.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
