About me

I will offer you warmth, compassion and understanding in our therapy together, guiding you through talking about your experiences and how you feel. I will give you tools to use in between sessions so that you can begin to help yourself to feel better.

I have 7 years of experience in helping people, like you, who feel stuck and uncertain. I also have life experience and came to counselling through my own struggles! I know first-hand how it is to experience uncertainty and fear, and I offer support and empathy for whatever it is that you are going through.

I help people to navigate difficult relationships, and conflicts in their lives, to put in healthy boundaries so they can become happier, more relaxed and have balanced well-being. If you would like to feel calmer and more at peace, then contact me today.

Clients tell me that they feel at ease and comfortable with my relaxed counselling style. Therapy isn't always easy; I know this from my own experience. I will gently guide you when you feel uncertain of what to say and where to begin.

Ultimately, therapy is worth the uncomfortable feelings of making a breakthrough and making lasting, positive changes!

I can offer early morning sessions from 8 am and am also able to offer early Saturday morning sessions.

I am also a Holistic Health coach, which means that I look at you holistically. We can look at your whole life where necessary including sleep, nutrition, and exercise. All of these things have an impact on your mental health too!

Getting in touch...
I can offer you a free introductory chat where I can advise you on how I might be able to help you and we can make an appointment together if you feel that I am the right therapist for you.

I will always respond or answer your email as quick as possible.

Training, qualifications & experience

I use different types of therapy modalities in my practice depending on what best suits your needs. I offer resources and skills to take away after each session so that you can take agency and begin the process of change.

I use mindfulness and relaxation techniques, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Attachment.

We will work on raising emotional awareness and explore how our thinking can influence emotions and behaviour. In this way, we will work on re-framing thoughts and rewiring thinking habits to help you to feel better.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
