About me

Are you struggling in your relationships?

Do you feel anxious and have no idea why?

Do you find yourself frequently saying yes to things that you don't want to do?

Maybe there are those red flags in your relationships that are telling you that something is wrong and your gut instinct is telling you so?

Whatever your issues I am here to help.

Counselling with me will be your opportunity to explore the difficulties that you are experiencing and together we can talk about ways to help you through your turbulent times.  I can also help you with changing habits, anxiety issues, boundaries, conflicts, relationship fears, work and life balance and much much more.  Many of my previous clients have been grateful that they have found a way through the issues that have made them feel 'stuck' for many years.

I know from experience how difficult life can be sometimes. I also know just how difficult it can feel to ask for help.  Please rest assured that counselling with me will be relaxed and I make every effort to make you feel comfortable.   I will help you to empower yourself to make wise, clear decisions and give you strategies to deal with your problems.

Getting in touch...

Please call or text me for further information and we can have a brief chat over the phone or you can email me for further information. I can advise you on how we can work together and will invite you to an appointment.

I will always respond or answer your email as quick as possible.

Training, qualifications & experience

I use different therapies in my practice and always revise how I work best to suit each client. I ensure my clients are given resources and skills to take away with them.  The tools that I provide will be suited to your specific needs to help to empower you, and help you to grow and change. I may use interventions from mindfulness and relaxation, CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy, Gestalt techniques.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
