About me

We all have our own reasons for wanting to reach out and talk to someone. Whatever it is you are struggling with, be it depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, a specific trauma, bereavement or a lifetime of things that have built up, sharing this with someone who will listen without judgement can be the first step towards healing.

Therapy with me is a warm, compassionate space. Together we can explore the difficulties you’re experiencing now, the struggles you’ve faced in the past and the places in your life where you feel stuck or want to make some changes.

As a BACP-registered, integrative psychotherapist, I use a range of modalities to build the therapy around you and what you need. I work relationally and draw on a range of therapeutic modalities such as psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centred, trauma-informed and body psychotherapy.

We’ve all taken our own paths to get where we are and have been shaped by the way we move through the world, with our own histories, bodies and combinations of cultural, ethnic, religious, gender, relationship and sexual differences. My therapy reflects that, working with and respecting all aspects of who you are as a person.

I offer both long and short-term therapy depending on your needs and can see you either in-person or online. My City practice is based in Ludgate Hill, near St Pauls, Holborn and Farringdon and just a short walk from City Thameslink and Blackfriars stations. My North London practice is in Mill Hill with free parking outside as well as easy access by public transport from Mill Hill Broadway.

By coming here and reading this profile, you’ve already taken the first step towards making a change. If it feels like I might be the right therapist for you, the next step is to get in touch by phone or email. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation where we can start to get to know each other. You can tell me a bit about yourself and what’s bringing you to therapy, ask me any questions you might have and we can then explore how we could work together.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at The Minster Centre, one of Europe’s leading institutes for Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also a member of The Relational School.

I work in private practice and have previously worked for several specialist therapy services. I have experience of long-term and short-term work, both online and in person.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
