About me
Life can be dark and confusing at times, and right now it has been a long year in a pandemic, so it is understandable to feel lonely, low, scared or hopeless.
Whatever our reason for going to therapy, it’s about having someone listen; to our fears, anxieties, losses and, our hopes and joys to be heard.
I offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore these difficulties and gain a deeper understanding and connection to yourself. Alongside a talking therapy space I also offer creative psychotherapy.
I am a poet, I am bilingual, and I am dyslexic – So I have an ambivalent relationship with words when it comes to my own self-expression. What I love about creative work is there doesn’t have to be a focus on what we say. We can express ourselves non-verbally, or in metaphors, and then find the words.
My love of words, as a poet, however, is very at home in the Email Counselling I offer.
I have gained other training through the years and have a bit of a blended approach as a practitioner but mostly my approach is staying connected to the human I am with, and the human experiences we explore in the therapy space.
