About me

I'm a qualified counsellor with an extensive background in Psychology. I specialise in the psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, feeling stuck, low confidence and low self-esteem, OCD and addictions.

Counselling is a space where the fog lifts; even though it might seem hard at first. The most important ingredient in this process is you and your story. All of your experiences have meaning and although the final goal is to eliminate whatever blocks you from living freely, it is also important to understand how you got here.

I can help you to understand what happened as part of the healing process. My therapeutic approach blends different techniques, and our work together will aim to explore and overcome your current struggles.

We will explore the direction-giving beliefs that shape the way you see yourself, the world and others. We will understand the emotions driving your behaviour and where these originate from. Understanding the "why" will enable you to create a vision of how to move forward, how to implement changes and what are the best ways to give your life the shape you want it to have. Uncovering repeating patterns in your life might prove useful for understanding how you deal with difficult situations, how you can turn them around and how to prevent them in the future.

The counselling journey is never the same but in most cases, it starts with helping you to pinpoint your current challenges and struggles and get clarity on your patterns of thinking and behaving.

In addition, we will also try to envision what the term "better life" looks like. Once this is clear, we will move into understanding how these patterns came to be and where they stem from. Next, we will explore what role they are playing in your current situation and how they are impacting your life. Finally, I help you to explore and decide what changes must take place for you to improve, live a better life and avoid running into the same situations in the future.

I offer short, medium and long-term counselling. The initial consultation is over the phone, free and lasts 20 minutes. During this time we are going to explore what brings you to counselling and will align on the frequency and duration of sessions. You can easily book a convenient time here.

Here are other counselling services that you might be interested in:

Christian Counselling - We are more than physical beings. Spirituality always plays an important part in our lives, whether we are aware of it or not. My intention is to offer clients who hold Christian-based principles the chance to explore how these principles shape their life perspective and their decision-making process alongside someone who shares the same faith. Find out more about it here: https://www.seekandbecome.com/christian-counselling/

Career Counselling - Let's be honest - work is a big deal in our modern lives. A lot of relational patterns and beliefs come to life in a work setting and affect us. A career change can be dreadful because of our self-imposed limitations or low confidence. Burnout can be the result of feeling unable to say no/stop. We bring ourselves into our work environment and we cannot stop work from impacting us outside it. So better to deal with it rather than avoid it.
