About me

Hi, I’m Reni!

I am a BACP accredited integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor who values you and is here to empower you through your struggles to make positive changes.

I understand that life can throw some difficult challenges, and this can be difficult especially if you have to face them alone. I offer online therapy and clinical supervision by using a integrative approach so you can discuss your feelings and gain the support you need to cope with your struggles. I am accredited with the BACP and have a diverse amount of experience working with clients in the UK including NHS staff and on a international basis.

I have my own private practise where I offer online sessions on a flexible basis and have created my own online courses on counselling skills.

I see all of my clients as unique, therefore, as an integrative counsellor, I use a variety of counselling approaches, to suit each of my clients’ needs. This involves using a combination of person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness to help support your needs. I support young people and adults with issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bereavement, OCD, stress, relationship problems, career, education, and personal life difficulties.

I strongly believe in the development of building a trusting relationship with my clients. I believe that by offering warmth and understanding to my clients, they can explore their difficulties without judgement. I see counselling as a mutual journey where I work alongside you as you work through your challenges. I hope you can given me a opportunity to offer you with the support you are looking for.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
