Supervision details
Hi, I’m Reni!
I am grateful that you are here and I am looking forward to supporting you to the best I can. I have many years of experience working as a counsellor supporting children, young people and adults in a diverse range of settings.
I am passionate about my role and understand the importance of having a supervisor whom is warm, empathetic and strives you to learn and grow in the safe and nurturing environment. This has inspired me to want to support other counsellors to be able to share what's on their mind and provide them with a safe space to discuss their clients and support their professional development.
I offer clinical supervisor online through video call or telephone call. I use a integrative approach which involves a combination of different modalities tailored towards supporting your clients desired needs. Some of these involve using cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, solution focused brief therapy, person centred therapy and mindfulness based CBT.
Clinical Supervision with me, will offer a safe place to unpack feelings that arise in your practice, walk through situations you’ve been in and by supporting you, allow you to continue to provide the best quality of care for your clients. I hope that you choose me to help you along your counselling journey, I am both excited and passionate in helping you to support your clients in the best way as well as supporting you to get the most out of your supervision sessions.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like any further information or would like to book a 10-minute, free initial consultation. I can't wait for this journey to begin together, I am grateful to you for taking the first step.
Thank you!
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
