About me

Corona Virus Update: We are happy to meet with clients via telephone, WhatsApp video call or Zoom video call, let us know what support options works best for you

We believe that everyone who needs to see a counsellor should be able to do so. Cost should not be the reason that you are not able to access support.

Day Time Sessions (7am- 5pm) £28

Evening Sessions (5pm-8pm) £30

Beginning therapy or counselling starts with two important decisions; ‘should I seek support from a counsellor?’ You’ve already made this difficult decision which is why you’re looking at this page.

The second decision is ‘which therapist is right for me?’ This decision can be somewhat harder but our reduced session rate gives you an opportunity to see if we are the counselling service for you.

We are proud to offer accessible support to clients with a range of needs including anxiety and Generalise Anxiety Disorder, depression and low mood, relationship and work issue, borderline personality disorder, bipolar spectrum disorder, emotion management difficulties, self-esteem issues, substance dependency, bereavement and loss, and coping with change.

About Rebecca: After working in both prisons and education for the past 16 years, I have experience of working with both adults and young people with a range of emotional and learning difficulties. I understand that life can be both challenging and frustrating, and that you may feel overwhelmed by your feelings. I understand that you may be very clear about the changes that you want to make in your life, or that you might have had experience that you’re finding difficult to cope with.

About Ieva: Breaking the stigma about mental health is my passion and I truly believe that everyone needs someone to talk to, someone who isn’t their close friend or family member. Sometimes we face difficulties in life that we are afraid to share with the ones closest to us because we worry we will upset or burden them. But, where do these feelings go? Some of us find release in a glass of wine and a bubble bath, but some of us reach for something stronger, unhealthy or impulsive. Some of us are living a lie, wearing a mask called ‘I’m fine’. I have found, from my own experience, that talking therapy is the healthiest and safest way to process, cope with and release complex and painful emotions that most of us are struggling with, alone.

Some people have a very clear idea of why they need to see a therapist or start counselling. Others are confused by their feelings and may feel out of control or alone. For some, therapy is an opportunity to better understand the choices they make and patterns they repeat. Whatever your reasons, be assured you will be treated with respect, confidentiality and given the space to be yourself.

Low Cost Counselling offers face-to-face, telephone, WhatsApp video call and Zoom video call sessions. Let us know what works best for you.
