About me

"It is when we start working together that the real healing takes place".

I understand how difficult it can be finding the right therapist. Not knowing where to start, where to look, what you want or knowing how you feel. Wondering how to manage those overwhelming feelings, and not knowing whether those feelings will ever disappear.

Life comes in different chapters, some good and some bad. I am here to accompany you on your therapeutic journey to explore and offer you warmth and ease in a non-judgmental environment to help you achieve your goals.

You can expect authenticity and empathy from me. I work at the client's pace and will adapt my work to what fits around the client. It is a huge privilege to me that I may be the person you trust to share your thoughts with. You are so much more than the difficulties you are facing, and I will help you recognise that.

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and I am also qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and I like to integrate both therapies together. I am also qualified in Play Therapy.

If I am the right therapist for you, please email me with your name, number, a brief description of the reason why you would like therapy, and I will get back to you as soon as I can to arrange your first session.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
