About me
Hello and a warm welcome!
My name is Nuro.
Reaching out for support when life is challenging is not always easy.
You might want to get a sense, a feel or an idea of the person you intend to share sensitive parts of yourself.
I am a German national and have lived in the UK for the past 30 years. I have worked for over 20 years, using body and talking therapy with clients from a variety of racial, socio-economic, religious and gender backgrounds and across a range of age groups.
I work in a gentle and non-judgemental way, facilitating a process of untangling, looking at and reflecting on issues brought to counselling with the understanding that we all aim for emotional and mental well-being.
In my experience, an important ingredient for that to happen is the relationship we create together, and the building of trust that arises from feeling truly listened to, in an atmosphere of deep acceptance.
Over the course of the therapy, I aim to support you, to strengthen your inner voice in order to come to a greater clarity and to move forward in your very own way.
I have experience in counselling in the following fields:
- Chronic illness (ME, MS, cancer, fibromyalgia)
- LGBTQ issues
- Anger & anger management
- Teenagers and young adults
- Emotional stress
- Relationship break-up
- Insomnia
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Bullying
- Bereavement
- Addictions
- Mental health
- Historical sexual abuse
- Trauma
I believe that existential issues can be at the bottom of all the above challenges in one’s life.
My approach is relational, integrative and person-centred, embedded in a thorough understanding of human interactions and informed by a vigorous training in TA (Transaction Analysis) and by life with all its ups & downs.
I look forward hearing from you.

Further information
Through many years of personal therapy and training I gained a profound insight of my own existential challenges of intergenerational trauma and long-term illness. This enables me to guide you into a compassionate reflection of yourself.
