About me

Psychotherapist, Confidence Building, Life and Relationship Coach.

Hi there, are you feeling like your stuck, isolated, lonely, or depressed and don’t know what to do? Are you looking for someone who not only listens to you but sees you and makes you feel like you matter? If the answer is yes, then look no further, as I genuinely believe I may be able to help you. Call me and let's have a chat with no obligation to go any further.

My name is Noreen Rose, I am fully qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Life Coach. I have experience of working with men and women who experience various difficulties such as, Relationship/family issues, Anxiety, Panic disorder, Depression, Bereavement, PTSD and much more. I work with individuals and couples on a short term or a long term basis.

I have helped my clients by using Cognitive Behaviour Techniques (CBT) and other Integrative approaches from psychological theories that inform my thinking. My clients come to me because they are struggling with a life problem and feel trapped, stuck and sometimes like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. No matter what they have tried (and many have tried therapy before) they don’t seem to be able to pull themselves out of their unpleasant situation.

B. Harborne, Birmingham says.....

“I first met Noreen at a very difficult time in my life and was surprised how much better I felt after just one session. I had felt stuck and hopeless, but her empathy and caring helped me a great deal. Noreen's incisive approach helped me get to the heart of my problems. I felt very supported in my time with her and I made significant progress which made a big improvement to my life “ (You can read further testimonies on my website).

My clients leave feeling empowered, as they have learnt a specific set of tools they can use whenever they need and they feel heard, for some clients this may be the first time. This enables them to set the standards for others in their lives to treat them with the same level of respect.

These tools they learn have helped reshape how their brain works towards particular problems and situations. They leave feeling ready for the next venture in their lives, as they understand themselves, in ways, no one has ever taught them before. With this new insight, they feel hopeful and can see the light at the end of the tunnel once again and start living the life that they were meant to.

My passion for this profession comes from wanting to support those who need guidance towards a more fulfilled life. My philosophy is anyone can change given the right environment or relationships. We do not need “fixing” because we are not broken, we have all that we need inside of us. We just need guidance, support and a will to find our own truths!  This is my purpose which is why I am here, what's yours? Call Me. Noreen Rose, Integrative Counsellor and Life Coach.

E. Kings Norton, Birmingham

"Noreen has been a great help in understanding the reasons behind my drinking and my past trauma. She creates a very welcoming environment which allows you to open up and breaks her advice down into easily understandable chunks. Noreen's approach comes with a great mixture of formal and informal styles, that make you feel at ease when talking about your issues". (more testimonies on my website take a look).

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
